Bigfoot, Yowie & Yeti
Long time no Blog. I just haven’t had the time. I have been revising my book, ” Last of the Baby Boomers”. The revised book will be vastly different from the first book. Just a better read and more about Sasquatch. In the original which currently is still available I go chronologically with Sasquatch introduced in chapter 25 to my Sasquatch adventures introduced in chapter 1. This new book has been a collaborative effort. I am excited to republish but I have one more chapter to complete. I have a great adventure planned in the dark pine only then will I be ready to complete the book. Sometime in July or August of 2018 I will be ready to promote this new take on my original book. Until then, Squatch on my friends.
SIR at sasquatchinvestigationsoftherockies.org appeared for the second annual Yetifest this time it was held in Gould, Colorado. What beautiful country they have up there. The people came out and supported us and the musicians, food and awesome raffle. The grand prize for a ten dollar ticket was a Yeti cooler. NOT donated by the company. Bigfoot, Yowie& Yeti donated shirts, hats and several other products made exclusively by us. Several other local companies and businesses either gave prizes or money.
We want to thank Betsy and her volunteers for making Yetifest happen. I enjoyed the whole experience and they do have the hairy people in their woods.
Hello everybody. Falling behind on my blog. Oops. SIR is going to be in Gould , Colorado on July 29th. Two of our researchers took a picture of a Sasquatch up in their neck of the woods. This the second year for Yeti fest. Both Mike and Scott will be there.
Last year was a lot of fun. Good reception. That is why we are having a second festival. From what I am hearing, we will be able to have a campout as the City is allowing us use of their forest land. A lot of new things to discuss. I hope people try and come out.
SIR continues to reach out to more and more people who are into Bigfoot especially in the Rockies. I love researching the subject and then the creative side of making new Sasquatch clothes and products. I have just begun to tap into my creative side. But I must continue my research to truly fulfil me.

Sasquatch Investigations of the Rockies
Michael Johnson is the driving force behind Sasquatch Investigations of the Rockies. Michael came to Colorado in 1977 from northern Kansas. He instantly fell in love with the mountains and Colorado and has spent countless days and nights exploring its majesty.
Michael got started in this endeavor in the 1990’s after finding 17″ footprints in the snow at Rampart Range during Thanksgiving break. In the same location, Mike had a Class 1 Bigfoot sighting when he saw a male Sasquatch in person. This sighting was investigated by the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization (BFRO).
Being very comfortable in the woods, Michael is well adapted to search for the legendary creature in the most remote areas of Colorado, in all four seasons. Mike is a family man and is very spiritual, whether it be his religion or his search for his Indian heritage. He is painfully honest, which has been his biggest challenge in this field, much to his surprise. Mike is interested in both the scientific side and spiritual side of the Sasquatch Equation, which makes him a unique individual in the field today.
The Pikes Peak Historical Society invites you to learn more about Sasquatch Investigations of the Rockies at their monthly Chautauqua (free program) on Sunday, June, 11th at 2:00 pm at the Florissant Library. The Library is located adjacent to the Florissant Community Park on 334 Circle Drive in Florissant. This program is presented as a public service of the Pikes Peak Historical Society. It is June 5th 2017. This is when we become most active in our pursuit of Sasquatch research and interactions. I am excited for July 29th and 30th in Gould Colorado. Yetifest second annual event featuring SIR sasquatchinvestigationsoftherockies.org as their guest speakers is going to be awesome. They are letting us have some forest land to let people go out with us to see what we do. We will have to see the layout before knowing whether we have a chance at some encounters. People should come out to see what happens. It will be entertaining at the very least. Lots of other activities to go with the event. Food, music and friendship. Good times I know I will be there.
I am very proud to report that our SIR investigators Harriet McFeeley and Robin Roberts with the help of the great State of Nebraska put on a fantastic conference. Hastings is a great City and they are already working on next years conference. Great speakers and a premier of the movie ” Something in the Woods” was very well received. I suggest anyone who hasn’t seen the movie go to Amazon Prime and check it out. It is family friendly and very entertaining.
Well we are into 2017 since my last Blog. Duty calls. What’s up 2017? The store is evolving and so am I. Don’t know how much I will get out “Squatchin” this year due to business and personal priorities. I have seen a lifetimes worth of cool things and cool people associated with cool things. The store is my top priority for the time being I will watch others continue to research and interact with our forest friends. I hope for good things but time marches on.
Well another year comes to a end. When I look back on everything it seems surreal. Not just the Sasquatch aspect but life in general. What is in store for 2017 nobody knows uncertainty seems to be the new normal. My 54th birthday on this blue marble is coming up New Years Eve. It is strange when your birthday closes out the books on a year personally and marks another trip around the Sun literally.
I feel I am living out a fortune cookie proverb of some sort. New friends have become more in tune with where I am now while some old friends seem to be gathering dust on the shelf of life. Time marches on and so do I while memories become faded and obsolete.
I hope everyone new and old even those where time has passed us by have a better 2017 and that includes the world as a whole, people in general and friends who now serve only as a place in time in my life.
I had the pleasure to see the documentary that Sasquatch Investigations of the Rockies and Bigfoot Yowie & Yeti were prominently represented in this week. It is produced by Centre Productions out of Boulder, Colorado. Ron Meyers and Anna Meyer Evans worked tirelessly on this project traveling across the United States meeting and discussing the origins and current state of affairs regarding Sasquatch. They even spent the night with Mike and I in the outfitters tent. This is a new area and it is still dicey at best on what can or will happen. They documented the nest that we believe was built for the sole purpose of birthing a Sasquatch.
The title is Chasing Bigfoot: The Search for the Truth. It is a five part series and is available on Amazon Prime. I highly recommend watching what they have compiled.
We always seem to have several irons in the fire. I will divulge more once we have had a chance to see if we are interested in pursuing. I know I am vague on what this opportunity is but keep checking in and I will keep people interested apprised of the outcome.

Well I am no longer a Blog newbie I am ready for Blog number 2.
Our Website has been up and functional since 10/3/16. Doing a Website is harder than it looks especially when you want it just so. I don’t know if “just so” is even possible but I will continue to tweak and evolve this site.
In my quiet time I sometimes run everything that has happened as a result of me becoming a Co-Founder of Sasquatch Investigations of the Rockies and starting our retail branch Bigfoot, Yowie & Yeti. Here are my observations.
Life definitely is way more interesting than I ever believed possible. It gives me hope and I don’t know exactly why but probably because it makes everything possible.
I really did get to meet the most interesting people this year which has renewed my belief in humankind.
From my experience Sasquatch will be proven. I may be dead 100 years but it will happen.
From my experience I understand why it hasn’t happened yet. This life is absolutely fascinating but it is a rabbit hole.
On the Bigfoot, Yowie & Yeti side interest is growing rapidly and it is from every age, gender, race and socio- economic group. That makes me believe that one thing that brings people together is when pondering if there is another branch of Hominids in our midst.
